After surgery

After other treatments

For a filling, root canal treatment, a crown, a check-up and clean, or children's treatment, the instructions are under “Afterwards”, at the end of each treatment's page.

When to call us straight away

After any treatment, call us straight away if:

  • swelling is getting worse, not better
  • pain is getting stronger, not easing
  • you have a high temperature
  • bleeding will not stop

If you find it hard to swallow or breathe, go straight to the emergency department at Rhodes General Hospital, or call 166.
